Why is NCM's ministry important? The greatest need of the churches in Rwanda is for trained and changed leaders. People see Rwanda as a churched country. It IS exciting to see churches being planted all over the place, all led by Rwandese. There's lots of energy and zeal. But once you get underneath and realize that these 1000s of churches are being led by people who have never even read the Bible, much less studied it, people who in some cases can barely write, people who when asked what salvation is can't give a Biblical answer, you see that the need of the hour is to train and disciple church leaders. That's what we're doing. There's no greater thing we can do for the church in Rwanda today. What is one of your wildest dreams? To start in at the border of Colorado and New Mexico and walk the highest mountain ridges all the way to the Wyoming border.
